Beginners Course

Service Description

This course is an excellent introduction to designing and making your own silver jewellery, and you will leave with a piece of handmade jewellery to treasure! No previous experience is necessary as Rob, our expert jeweller, will guide you all the way. On this course you will learn new skills such as: metal forming, filing, annealing, soldering, piercing, texturing and finishing. You will receive an allowance of base metal and silver. Additional metals that may be required will be charged separately. The course lasts six weeks, with one class session every week at the same time and day. Each class lasts 2.5 hours. Class days and times change as the course renews to cater to different timetables. Once you have completed the Beginners Course, you may wish to build on your new found skills and enrol in our Improvers Course!
